A new gateway to Daman's coast

Daman Airport (NAMO Airport) opened its new terminal in June 2026. Commercial passenger flights are scheduled to begin 16 July 2026, connecting Daman to Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad.

A coastal town with a long aviation story

From a 1955 Portuguese airfield to Daman's new civil terminal

Daman's airstrip dates back to Portuguese India, when TAIP operated flights to Goa, Diu and Karachi in the 1950s. Today it's home to an Indian Coast Guard Air Station, and — from July 2026 — a new civil terminal built under the Government of India's UDAN regional connectivity scheme.
